Executive Jet Management (an EJM/NetJets/Berkshire Hathaway company) is seeking a seasoned Captain to lead safe, service-forward operations on a Hawker 4000 based at Centennial Airport (KAPA) in Englewood, Colorado.

  • Base: Centennial Airport (KAPA), Englewood, CO
  • Operation: Part 91, dedicated 3-pilot crew
  • Annual Utilization: ~250 flight hours
  • Commute: Non-commutable (local presence required)

✈️ The Opportunity

As Pilot in Command, you will set the standard for safety, professionalism, and hospitality while operating a well-supported Hawker 4000 for a discerning Part 91 owner. You’ll be part of a tight-knit, three-pilot team backed by the resources and stability of EJM and the NetJets family.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Lead all phases of flight as PIC, ensuring regulatory and company compliance at all times.
  • Own flight planning, performance, and weight-and-balance for each mission.
  • Conduct TPC briefings and apply CRM/TEM to identify and mitigate risk.
  • Serve as Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator per company policy.
  • Oversee preflight readiness, aircraft status, and ground services (fuel, oil, oxygen).
  • Log discrepancies and coordinate maintenance in accordance with SOPs.
  • Deliver comprehensive passenger briefings and elevated, personalized service.
  • Investigate and resolve service deviations, collaborating across EJM teams.
  • Maintain currency, recurrent training, and full participation in the EJM SMS.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Certificates: FAA ATP (Unrestricted) and First Class Medical.
  • Type: FAA type rating in applicable fleet; Hawker 4000 or equivalent midsize/heavy business jet experience preferred.
  • Experience: 4–6 years total; prior corporate/business aviation experience preferred.
  • Minimum flight time:
    • Total: 3,500 hours
    • PIC: 2,000 hours
    • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
    • PIC MEL: 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours
  • Attributes: Safety-first mindset, polished customer service, clear communication, and the ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
  • Location: Preference for local candidates; non-commutable base.
