As a captain at SkyShare, you will be part of our exciting Part 135 flight department based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bring your Gulfstream expertise to deliver uncompromising safety and exceptional service for our clients.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) on Gulfstream GIV series aircraft under Part 135 operations.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and risk management across all phases of flight.
- Deliver an elevated client experience with professional presentation and outstanding first‑impression skills.
- Plan and execute domestic and international trips, including transatlantic and transpacific operations.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and crew for aircraft readiness and on‑time performance.
- Proactively manage fatigue with effective sleep strategies to ensure flight readiness.
- Handle and care for animals traveling before, during, and after flights.
- Safeguard client privacy and company information with integrity and confidentiality.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total time: 5,000 hours
- PIC time: 3,000 hours
- PIC in type: 1,000 hours (GIV/G350/G400/G450)
- Multi-engine: 2,000 hours
- Jet: 1,500 hours
- Cross-country: 500 hours
- Night: 100 hours
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Type rating: Required (current GIV series preferred)
- Prior Part 135 experience
- International experience, including transatlantic and transpacific operations

- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Valid passport and driver’s license
- Ability to pass TSA background checks and obtain a SIDA badge when applicable
- Strong customer-focused approach with professional presentation
- Competent in working with animals before, during, and after flights
- Demonstrated integrity and strict confidentiality
