Jet Linx is hiring an experienced Pilot in Command to captain our Gulfstream GIV series heavy jets (G350/G400/G450) across Part 91 and Part 135 operations. You’ll command complex domestic and international missions, deliver exceptional client service, and uphold the highest safety standards. Candidates must live, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out of their assigned home base.

  • Home Base Requirement: Within a 2-hour call-out of assigned base
  • License: ATP Qualified (FAA)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not provided
  • Currency: Initial or Recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months preferred

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command on Gulfstream GIV series aircraft for Part 91/135 flight operations, ensuring uncompromising safety, compliance, and customer care.
  • Execute flight planning, performance calculations, fuel strategy, and international procedures; ensure regulatory compliance across all phases of flight.
  • Lead the crew using strong Crew Resource Management (CRM), mentoring the SIC and coordinating with dispatch, maintenance, and client services.
  • Uphold company SOPs, FAA regulations, and Safety Management System (SMS) best practices.
  • Oversee aircraft readiness, weight and balance, weather/NOTAM analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Deliver a premium client experience with discretion, professionalism, and proactive communication.
  • Maintain accurate flight, duty, and training records; complete post-flight documentation.
  • Support operational flexibility, including nights, weekends, holidays, and short-notice call-outs.

🧰 Minimum flight qualifications

  • Total Time: 3,500 hours
  • PIC Time: 2,000 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours (with 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC)
  • Turbine: 500 hours
  • In Type: 250 hours (including 250 hours PIC in type)
  • Instrument: 300 hours
  • Type Rating: Current/valid GIV series type rating required

🌟 Certifications & currency

  • License: ATP Qualified (FAA)
  • Medical: First Class
  • Training: Initial or Recurrent Part 142 training in type within the past 24 months preferred
  • FCC: Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • PRD: Ability to authorize release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review with a System Chief Pilot

🌍 Travel & documentation

  • Valid, current passport.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license (or ability to obtain).

🛡️ Compliance & schedule

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug/alcohol testing.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; respond within a 2-hour call-out window.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
