Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G800 Captain to join our team based at KHIO. We’re looking for a collaborative professional who pursues excellence in every phase of flight, delivering a premier travel experience while upholding our culture of safety, service, and integrity.
🧭 The Mission
Lead safe, efficient, and guest-focused operations on our Gulfstream G800. You’ll partner closely with your crew and operations team to ensure meticulous planning, polished execution, and an exceptional client experience on every leg.
- Exercise full authority and judgment as Pilot in Command, prioritizing safety and compliance at all times.
- Conduct comprehensive preflight planning, including weather, performance, weight and balance, fuel, and navigation.
- Execute precise flight deck management and CRM, fostering clear communication and teamwork.
- Deliver discreet, anticipatory service and maintain the highest standards of professionalism with clients and partners.
- Coordinate with maintenance and scheduling to maximize aircraft readiness and mission reliability.

🧾 Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
- Must complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
- Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KHIO (Hillsboro, OR) or willingness to relocate.
📏 Minimum Flight & Certification Requirements
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Instrument: 250 hours
- Type Rating: Required (Gulfstream G800)
- License: ATP — FAA only
- Medical: First Class
📍 Base, Schedule, and Travel
- Base: KHIO — Hillsboro, Oregon
- Schedule: Full-time with on-call duty; domestic and international operations as assigned
- Training: Annual ICAO international procedures recurrent
