Solairus Aviation is seeking a seasoned Gulfstream G700 Captain to join our elite Part 91 flight department based at KVNY. If you deliver precision, sound judgment, and exceptional passenger care on every leg, this full-time, on-call opportunity is for you.

  • Location: Van Nuys, California (KVNY)
  • Operation: Part 91
  • Employment: Full-time
  • Schedule: On-call
  • Residency: Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KVNY (or willing to relocate)
  • Aircraft: Gulfstream G700

🧭 Mission

Lead the safe, compliant, and passenger-focused operation of a Gulfstream G700 under Solairus Aviation policies and all applicable FARs. You’ll be a trusted professional who anticipates needs, manages risk, and executes each flight with precision from planning through post-flight.

📋 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the Gulfstream G700 safely and prudently on all assigned flights.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to departure.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Complete comprehensive weather, NOTAM, facility, and alternate airport planning.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Safeguard the safety and comfort of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
  • Accurately complete all trip paperwork and operational documentation.
  • Maintain currency, including annual ICAO International Procedures training.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Total Time: 3,000 hours
  • PIC: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbojet: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 250 hours
  • Type rating on the Gulfstream G700 or comparable aircraft.
  • Current FAA First Class Medical.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Ability to complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
  • Primary residence within two hours of KVNY, or willingness to relocate.
