Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Captain to lead safe, polished operations on a Gulfstream G650ER based at San Francisco International Airport. You’ll champion client service, safety, integrity, and operational excellence on every mission.
🧭 What you’ll lead
- Exercise full captain authority for the safe, prudent conduct of all G650ER flights.
- Oversee aircraft readiness: review maintenance status and ensure airworthiness.
- Perform thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Plan and brief domestic and international missions: weather, performance, fuel, NOTAMs, and suitable alternates.
- Ensure compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and applicable FARs and international standards.
- Protect the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew while delivering a refined client experience.
- Accurately complete all trip documentation and post‑flight reporting.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Total time: 3,000+ hours
- PIC time: 1,500+ hours
- Multi‑engine (MEL): 1,500+ hours, including 500+ hours MEL PIC
- Turbojet time: 500+ hours
- Instrument time: 250+ hours
- Current first-class medical certificate
- Type rating on the Gulfstream G650ER (or a comparable aircraft) required
- Ability to work on an on‑call basis
- Annual completion of ICAO International Procedures training
- Primary residence within a two‑hour drive of KSFO or willingness to relocate
