✈️ The Opportunity

Solairus Aviation is seeking a seasoned Captain to join a safety-first, service-oriented flight operation based at KBED in Bedford, Massachusetts. You will lead the operation of a Gulfstream G650ER, ensuring safe, compliant, and exceptional experiences for passengers while upholding Solairus standards and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Operate the Gulfstream G650ER safely and prudently in accordance with Solairus policies, applicable FARs, and approved aircraft procedures.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each flight.
• Conduct required preflight inspections per the approved AFM.
• Plan and brief flights, including weather, NOTAMs, route, facilities, destinations, alternates, and international procedures as required.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulations; protect the safety and security of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
• Manage performance, weight and balance, and fuel planning for each leg.
• Complete all trip documentation accurately and in accordance with current procedures.

🧰 What You Bring

• Flight experience:
  • 3,000 hours total time
  • 1,500 hours PIC
  • 1,500 hours multi-engine land time
  • 500 hours multi-engine PIC
  • 500 hours turbojet time
  • 250 hours instrument time
• Type rating: Gulfstream G650ER or comparable-aircraft type rating (required).
• Medical: Current first-class medical.
• Training: Annual completion of ICAO international procedures training.
• Availability: On-call responsiveness to support flight operations.
• Location: Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KBED or willingness to relocate.
