Solairus Aviation is seeking an experienced, full-time Captain to lead safe, seamless, and service-focused operations on a Gulfstream G650 and G500 based in Farmingdale, NY. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who brings outstanding airmanship, polished client service, and an unwavering commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Command G650/G500 flights with impeccable judgment, professionalism, and CRM effectiveness.
- Plan and execute domestic and international missions in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weather/NOTAM reviews; ensure aircraft readiness.
- Deliver a premium passenger experience grounded in discretion, courtesy, and service excellence.
- Maintain flight records, training currency, and documentation to the highest standards.
- Champion a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
🧰 What you bring
- Total flight time: 6,000 hours minimum
- PIC time: 1,500 hours minimum
- Multi-Engine Land: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land PIC: 500 hours
- Turbine jet: 500 hours
- Instrument: 250 hours
- Type rating on G650/G500 (or comparable aircraft) preferred.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Able to support an on-call schedule.
- Completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
- Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KFRG or willingness to relocate.
- Strong safety, service, and integrity standards with excellent communication and teamwork.
📍 Base & schedule
- Base: Farmingdale, New York (KFRG)
- Schedule: On-call
- Residency: Live within two hours of KFRG or be open to relocation
