🧭 About the role

As Captain, you will lead safe, compliant, and discreet operations on the G650 while upholding Solairus Aviation’s culture of safety, service, and integrity. You’ll be trusted to make sound decisions, deliver a premium passenger experience, and represent the flight department with professionalism on every mission.

🧰 What you’ll do

Ensure the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650 and conduct all flights in a prudent, standards-driven manner.
Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each flight.
Perform a thorough preflight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Plan each mission, including weather and facilities checks for route, destination, and alternates.
Adhere to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Safeguard passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
Accurately complete all trip-related documentation per current procedures.

PIC time: 1,500+ hours
MEL time: 1,500+ hours
MEL PIC: 500+ hours
Turbojet time: 500+ hours
Instrument time: 250+ hours
G650 or comparable type rating.
Current First-Class Medical.
On-call availability and the ability to support dynamic scheduling.
Annual ICAO International Procedures training commitment.
Primary residence in the Northeast U.S. or willingness to relocate.

💼 Compensation

Solairus lists crewmember pay ranging from $50,000–$500,000, based on factors including geography, experience, equipment type/aircraft, duties, training, and assigned account.
