We are seeking a type-rated Captain who thrives in a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Pilot.

🧭 The opportunity

As a Gulfstream G650 Captain at Qualcomm, you will lead safe, efficient, and passenger-focused operations across a global footprint. You will collaborate with a seasoned team that values professionalism, procedural discipline, and continuous improvement in all facets of flight operations.

🧰 What you will do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command on the G650, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and airmanship.
  • Plan and execute flights domestically and internationally, including performance calculations, weather and route analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Uphold company SOPs and applicable FARs, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate exemplary Crew Resource Management and mentor crewmembers.
  • Deliver an elevated passenger experience with confidentiality, discretion, and service excellence.
  • Maintain training currency, aircraft proficiency, and readiness to report to KCRQ within 2 hours of notice.
  • Accurately manage flight records, regulatory documentation, and operational communications.

🌟 Minimum qualifications

  • License: Current FAA ATP with multi-engine rating
  • Medical: First Class
  • Type rating: At least one jet type rating (current); type rating required
  • Total time: 4,000+ hours
  • PIC time: 2,000+ hours PIC
  • Jet time: 2,000+ hours
  • Jet PIC: 1,000+ hours
  • Systems experience: Automated cockpit EFIS and FMS

🧭 Additional requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience as Captain with an FAR Part 91, 121, 135 operator or military equivalent.
  • No aircraft accidents or incidents, or provide a full written explanation of circumstances.
  • No past or pending FAA violations, or provide a full written explanation of circumstances.
  • Able to present for inspection all logbooks, licenses, and current medical certificate.

🌟 Preferred

  • Type rated in Gulfstream GVI (G650), GVII, and/or GVIII.
