Solairus Aviation is hiring a full-time Captain to join our KBUR-based Gulfstream G650 operation. Deliver exceptional client experiences while championing our culture of safety, service, and integrity.

✈️ The Mission

As Captain, you will lead the safe, efficient, and professional operation of a Gulfstream G650 for a Burbank-based client. You’ll collaborate closely with the operation to ensure exemplary aircraft, passenger, and crew management on every flight.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot in Command, conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness prior to each flight.
  • Complete thorough preflight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Plan and evaluate weather, route facilities, destination and alternate airports.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Solairus policies, procedures, and applicable FARs.
  • Safeguard passenger, aircraft, and crew safety at all times.
  • Accurately complete and submit all trip paperwork per current procedures.
  • Be available for on-call assignments as operational needs dictate.

🧰 Qualifications & Experience

  • Flight Time Minimums
    • 3,000 hours total time
    • 1,500 hours PIC
    • 1,500 hours multi-engine (MEL)
    • 500 hours MEL PIC
    • 500 hours turbojet time
    • 250 hours instrument time
  • Current type rating on the Gulfstream G650 or a comparable aircraft.
  • Valid first-class medical certificate.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Completion of ICAO International Procedures training annually.
  • Primary residence within two hours of KBUR or willingness to relocate.

🌟 Benefits & Compensation

Crewmembers are paid between $50,000 and $500,000. Actual compensation varies by geographic area, experience, equipment type/aircraft, job duties, training, and the assigned account.

Note: Final compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and assignment.
