Solairus Aviation is seeking a seasoned Gulfstream G600 Captain to join a premier private-aviation operation based at Boeing Field (KBFI) in Seattle. In this role, you will lead safe, compliant, and passenger-focused missions while upholding the highest standards of a world-class flight department.

✈️ About the Role

As Captain, you are the final authority for the safe and prudent operation of a Gulfstream G600. You’ll oversee all phases of flight—from rigorous preflight planning through post-flight documentation—while ensuring adherence to Solairus Aviation policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

  • Base of operations: KBFI (Boeing Field), Seattle, WA
  • Schedule: On-call; must reside within a 2-hour drive of KBFI or be willing to relocate
  • Training: Annual ICAO International Procedures

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Execute all flights safely and prudently as Pilot in Command of a Gulfstream G600.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness prior to each departure.
  • Conduct thorough preflight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Analyze weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternates along the planned route.
  • Ensure full compliance with Solairus Aviation procedures and all applicable FARs.
  • Prioritize the safety and comfort of passengers and crew at every stage of flight.
  • Accurately complete and submit all required trip paperwork and documentation.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Total time: 3,000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours (including 500 hours MEL PIC)
  • Turbojet time: 500 hours
  • Instrument time: 250 hours
  • Current type rating in the Gulfstream G600 or a comparable aircraft.
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical.
  • Ability to work in an on-call environment and complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.
  • Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KBFI or willingness to relocate.
