✈️ The Opportunity

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Gulfstream G600 Captain to join a three-pilot team based in Oxford, CT. This Part 91/135 operation averages about 300 flight hours per year (~150 per pilot). Candidates must be typed and current on the G600 and either live within a two-hour drive of KOXC or be willing to relocate. This is a full-time, on-site role and is not commutable.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the Gulfstream G600 in strict compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, and company policies.
  • Demonstrate uncompromising professionalism, sound judgment, and proactive risk management on every flight.
  • Coordinate flight planning, performance, and regulatory requirements to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time operations.
  • Maintain currency, training, and documentation required for Part 91/135 operations.

The role is a safety-sensitive position under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
  • Minimum 3,500 hours total time, 2,000 hours PIC, and 1,000 hours turbine.
  • Gulfstream G600 type rating with at least 200 hours on type; candidates must be typed and current.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel internationally.
  • Ability to pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks; willingness to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Residency within a two-hour drivable commute to Oxford, CT (KOXC) or willingness to relocate.
  • License required: ATP_UNRESTRICTED
