✈️ The Mission
As Captain, you will be accountable for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G600 on every leg—from meticulous preflight preparation to smooth arrival. You will champion a safety-first culture, uphold Solairus policies, and ensure full adherence to applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Pilot in Command, safeguarding passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
- Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each flight.
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Plan weather, NOTAMs, route, alternates, and airport facilities for all phases of flight.
- Operate in full compliance with Solairus procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain professional communication, decision-making, and CRM throughout operations.
- Accurately complete and submit all trip paperwork and documentation.
🧰 What You Bring
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- MEL PIC: 500 hours
- Turbojet: 500 hours
- Instrument: 250 hours
- Type rating on the Gulfstream G600 or on a comparable aircraft.
- Current FAA First Class Medical.
- Ability to work on an on-call basis.
- Willingness to complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
- Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KAUS, or willingness to relocate.
