🧭 Your Mission
As Captain, you’ll lead the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a Gulfstream G550. You’ll be entrusted with the full spectrum of preflight planning, in-flight decision-making, and post-flight documentation—always placing the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew first while delivering a world-class client experience.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Ensure the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 and conduct all flights prudently and professionally.
- Review aircraft maintenance status and verify airworthiness prior to departure.
- Complete thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Evaluate weather, NOTAMs, and facilities along the route, including suitable alternates.
- Adhere to Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and all applicable FARs.
- Safeguard passengers, aircraft, and crew at every stage of flight.
- Accurately complete and submit all trip documentation per current procedures.
🌟 What You Bring
- Minimum flight time: 3,000 hours total; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours MEL; 500 hours MEL PIC; 500 hours turbojet; 250 hours instrument.
- Type rating on the Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical.
- Availability to operate on an on-call basis.
- Ability to complete annual ICAO international procedures training.
- Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KVNY, or willingness to relocate.
