✈️ The Opportunity

As Captain, you will operate the Gulfstream G550 safely and prudently while upholding Solairus policies and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). You will champion a proactive safety mindset, exceptional service, and seamless execution on every trip.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Gulfstream G550, safeguarding passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status and airworthiness before each flight.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan and brief each mission, including route, weather, NOTAMs, performance, fuel, and alternates.
• Ensure strict adherence to Solairus procedures and applicable FARs.
• Execute international procedures in line with current ICAO standards and training.
• Accurately complete all trip paperwork and documentation per current procedures.

🧰 What You Bring

• Minimum flight time: 3,000 hours total; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi‑engine (land), including 500 hours multi‑engine PIC; 500 hours turbojet; 250 hours instrument.
• Type rating on the Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
• Annual completion of ICAO International Procedures training.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KSJC or willingness to relocate.
