✈️ The Opportunity

As a Captain on our Gulfstream G500, you will lead each mission with professionalism and prudence, ensuring a seamless experience from preflight to postflight. You’ll operate to the highest standards under Solairus procedures and applicable FARs, protecting passengers, crew, and aircraft on every leg.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Safely operate the Gulfstream G500 in accordance with Solairus SOPs and all applicable regulations.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and perform thorough preflight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan each flight prudently: analyze weather, performance, NOTAMs, and facilities for route, destination, and alternates.
• Exercise sound judgment and CRM, prioritizing the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
• Complete all trip documentation and reports accurately and on time under current company procedures.
• Maintain currency, including annual ICAO international procedures training.

🧰 What You Bring

• Current type rating on the Gulfstream G500 (or a comparable aircraft).
• Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
• Availability for on‑call operations as needed.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF, or willingness to relocate.

⏱️ Minimum Flight Experience

• 3,000 hours total time
• 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
• 1,500 hours multi-engine
• 500 hours multi-engine PIC
• 500 hours turbojet (jet time)
• 250 hours instrument
