Gulfstream G450 Captain — South Bend-Based Corporate Flight Operation

🧭 About the role

As Captain, you are responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the G450 on domestic and international missions. You will exercise sound judgment, lead by example, and deliver a polished client experience on every trip while maintaining the highest operational standards.

🧰 Key responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command for all assigned Gulfstream G450 flights.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness prior to departure.
• Perform thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Assess weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternate airports along the planned route.
• Conduct each flight in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and applicable FARs.
• Protect the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
• Accurately complete all trip paperwork and records in line with current procedures.

🌟 What you’ll bring

• 3,000 hours total time, including:
  • 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
  • 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
  • 500 hours MEL PIC
  • 500 hours in turbojet aircraft
  • 250 hours instrument time
• Current type rating in the Gulfstream G450 or comparable aircraft.
• Current First Class medical certificate.
• Annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-call environment.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KSBN or willingness to relocate.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, service, and integrity; strong teamwork within a dedicated crew.

Note: This is a full-time, on-call Captain position based at KSBN.
