Join Alerion Aviation as a Captain on the Gulfstream G280, leading safe, efficient Part 91/135 operations from sunny West Palm Beach. You’ll command complex domestic and international missions while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance.
✈️ What you’ll do
- Command G280 flights in full compliance with company policies, SOPs, and FAA regulations.
- Plan and execute each flight, including performance, fuel, routing, weather, and weight-and-balance considerations.
- Lead the flight crew with a safety-first mindset while delivering a polished, client-focused experience.
- Maintain aircraft standards during all phases of operation and coordinate with company teams to ensure mission readiness.
- Exercise sound judgment and decisive leadership in normal and non-normal operations.
🧭 Minimum PIC qualifications
- ATP (Unrestricted) required.
- 4,000+ hours total time.
- 3,000+ hours PIC (all aircraft).
- 3,000+ hours multi-engine; 2,000+ hours multi-engine PIC.
- 300+ hours instrument time.
- Strong international experience preferred.
- Type rating on Gulfstream G200 or comparable aircraft preferred.
- Type rating on Gulfstream G280 or comparable aircraft preferred.
🧰 Required credentials & clearances
- Current and valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Valid passport; able to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the last 5 years.
- Authority to work in the United States.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
- Pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check.
- Reside within a 2-hour driving radius of Palm Beach International Airport (KPBI).
