Join Aviation Advisor as a full-time Gulfstream G280 Captain and take the left seat of a high-performance midsize jet based in Kenosha, Wisconsin (KENW). You’ll lead safe, efficient operations under FAR Part 91 and Part 135 while delivering a refined passenger experience.

✈️ The Opportunity

As Pilot in Command of the Gulfstream G280, you’ll hold final authority for flight safety and compliance while representing Aviation Advisor with professionalism and care. We welcome qualified Captains who live within a two-hour personal commute of KENW; relocation will be considered for the right candidate.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Exercise final authority for the safe, compliant operation of each flight in accordance with federal, state, local, and foreign regulations, company policy, the operations manual, and SOPs.
  • Plan and execute every trip with precision: conduct thorough preflight inspections; review weather for departure, destination, en route areas, and alternates; prepare/review flight plans.
  • Verify aircraft status, maintenance, and provisioning for passenger safety and comfort; calculate and confirm weight and balance, fuel burn, and performance; use company checklists.
  • Lead and supervise the First Officer; coordinate all assigned crewmembers and maintain availability via company communication channels during duty periods.
  • Make sound operational decisions regarding flight initiation, delays, cancellations, and route deviations based on current and forecast conditions.
  • Work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays, while delivering exceptional customer service with strong attention to detail, adaptability, and follow-through.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Certificates: ATP Multi-Engine Land (unrestricted or restricted) or ATP written; current First Class Medical.
  • Flight Time Minimums: 3,000 total hours; 1,500 PIC hours; 200 multi-engine hours.
  • Compliance: Radiotelephony proficiency; able to pass drug testing and TSA background screening; eligible for airport ID badge and ramp-driving privileges.
  • Travel Docs: Valid passport and driver’s license.
  • Location: Reside within a two-hour personal commute of KENW; relocation considered.
  • Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Technology: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
