✈️ The Opportunity

Executive Jet Management (EJM) is hiring a home‑based Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream G280 operating under EJM’s Part 135 certificate. You’ll join a stable four‑pilot team, supported by a dedicated maintenance technician, and fly a set schedule while delivering a safe, compliant, and efficient operation with an exceptional owner and passenger experience.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Hold final authority and responsibility for safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operation.
  • Verify crewing and trip assignments meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete flight planning, performance, weight-and-balance, and all preflight tasks.
  • Review maintenance status, record discrepancies, and oversee ground servicing (fuel, oil, oxygen).
  • Lead Threats, Plans & Considerations briefings; follow company SOPs and standards.
  • Serve as Ground Security Coordinator and In‑Flight Security Coordinator.
  • Conduct passenger briefings, accommodate special requests, and deliver a premium owner/passenger experience.
  • Use CRM and TEM to communicate effectively during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance EJM’s service, resolve deviations, and collaborate across crews and internal partners.
  • Maintain training and recency, comply with the SMS program, and report safety or compliance concerns through proper channels.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Prior Part 135 experience and ability to perform all essential functions of the role.
  • Home‑based within a 90‑minute drive of a major airport served by commercial airlines.
  • Flight time minimums:
    • 3,500 hours total time
    • 1,500 hours Multi Engine Land (MEL)
    • 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
    • 500 hours PIC MEL
    • 300 hours instrument
    • 500 hours jet
  • FAA G280 type rating strongly preferred (not required).
  • Ability to pass EJM pre‑employment drug screening and background checks.
