Jet Linx is seeking a proven Pilot in Command to lead safe, professional operations on our Gulfstream G200 Super Midsize jet. You’ll fly a mix of Part 91 and Part 135 missions, champion our safety-first culture, and deliver an exceptional client experience while based in Houston.

  • Location: Houston, TX (must reside within a 2-hour call-out of the aircraft)
  • Operations: Part 91 and Part 135
  • Aircraft: Gulfstream G200 (Super Midsize)
  • Reports to: Base Chief Pilot
  • Starting base salary: $160,000–$245,000

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command for G200 operations under Part 91 and 135, modeling decisive, safety-centered leadership.
  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in full compliance with company policy and applicable CFRs.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication for standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-/post-flight reports.
  • Own the currency and readiness of your EFB hardware and applications, navigation charts, publications, and company manuals.
  • Maintain a current First Class Medical and uphold the highest professional standards on every trip.
  • Demonstrate Jet Linx core values and deliver a refined client experience in all interactions.

🧰 What you bring

  • Minimum flight experience:
  • Total time: 3,500 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
  • PIC in type (G200): 250 hours
  • Multi-engine: 1,000 hours (including 500 PIC)
  • Turbine: 1,000 hours (including 500 PIC)
  • Instrument: 300 hours
  • Jet: 1,500 hours (including 500 PIC)
  • Certifications & credentials: ATP (or ability to obtain), current First Class Medical, FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Documentation: Current passport; proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.; ability to obtain a U.S. driver’s license.
  • Background & compliance: Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot; pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug/alcohol testing.
  • Travel readiness: Unrestricted travel to EU countries, Canada, and the Caribbean.
  • Training: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Work environment: Majority of work in/around aircraft and terminals; able to work nights, weekends, and holidays; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
