Jet Linx Aviation is hiring a full-time PIC to captain our Gulfstream G200 in Austin, Texas, supporting safe, efficient Part 91 and Part 135 operations.

  • Call-out radius: Live within, or relocate to, a two-hour call-out of the aircraft

✈️ The Opportunity

As the G200 Captain, you’ll report to the Base Chief Pilot and take full command of flight preparation and execution in accordance with FARs and company procedures. You’ll be trusted to make sound decisions, deliver exceptional safety and service, and represent Jet Linx with professionalism on every mission.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as PIC of G200 flights under Part 91 and Part 135.
  • Plan, brief, and execute flights to the highest safety and compliance standards.
  • Ensure airworthiness, performance calculations, weight and balance, and fuel planning.
  • Lead the crew, coordinate with dispatch/maintenance, and uphold SOPs and FAR requirements.
  • Adapt to dynamic schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operations demand.
  • Represent Jet Linx with outstanding airmanship and customer service.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

Minimum Flight Experience

  • 3,500 hours total time
  • 2,000 hours total PIC
  • 250 hours PIC in type (G200)
  • 1,000 hours multi-engine (500 hours multi-engine PIC)
  • 1,000 hours turbine (500 hours turbine PIC)
  • 1,500 hours total jet (500 hours jet PIC)
  • 300 hours instrument

Certifications & Credentials

  • Required: Unrestricted ATP, First-Class Medical
  • Required: FCC Restricted Radio Operator Permit
  • Required: Current passport; proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Required: Ability to obtain a U.S. driver’s license
  • Preferred: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months

Work & Travel Requirements

  • Unrestricted ability to travel to the EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in random testing for safety-sensitive functions (marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), amphetamines)
  • Release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Role performed in and around aircraft/terminals; able to move up to 50 lbs frequently
