Reynolds Jet, a private aircraft management and on-demand jet charter company, is seeking a safety-focused Second-in-Command to join a dedicated two-pilot team on a Gulfstream G150. This is a Part 91 operation with approximately 125 flight hours per year, based at Cincinnati Lunken Municipal Airport (LUK).

  • Crew: Dedicated two-pilot crew
  • Reports to: Chief Pilot (administrative) and PIC (operational)

🧭 What you will do

  • Support and comply with all Reynolds Jet Safety and Quality Standards.
  • Operate under the direction of the PIC on all flights; assist with the full management of each mission.
  • Fly the aircraft per PIC direction, including performing takeoffs and landings under PIC authority.
  • Assume PIC authority if the PIC becomes incapacitated.
  • Participate proactively in the Safety Management System by identifying and reporting hazards and safety-risk deficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the PIC role and responsibilities to support a high-performing two-pilot team.
  • Remain highly knowledgeable of the General Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and all instructions pertinent to assigned duties.
  • Maintain a current medical and immediately notify the Chief Pilot of any condition that may impair flight duties.

🧰 What you will bring

  • License required: Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings.
  • Medical: Current First Class Medical (or current Second Class with the ability to obtain a First Class Medical).
  • Credentials: Valid U.S. Passport and Radio Station License.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience (preferred): 1,000+ hours total time and 500+ hours as PIC; prior turbine time viewed favorably.
  • Compliance: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a favorable PRIA.
  • Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Part 91 operations, GOM, Ops Specs, Flight Manuals, and SMS principles.
  • Fit: Demonstrated decision-making, risk management, and culture alignment; flight-time thresholds are guidelines, not hard minimums.

📍 Base and residency

  • Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (LUK).
  • Residency requirement: This position is not commutable. Candidate must live within, or be willing to relocate within, a 2-hour drive of LUK.
