🧭 Your Mission
Lead safe, polished, and on-time operations as the Pilot in Command of Aero’s Gulfstream G-IV fleet. You’ll be the standard-bearer for safety and service—setting the tone in the flight deck, partnering across dispatch and maintenance, and delivering a seamless, guest-centric journey from briefing to block-in.
- Serve as PIC, demonstrating impeccable airmanship, judgment, and crew leadership.
- Plan and execute flights in accordance with company procedures and applicable FARs.
- Own the details: performance, W&B, fuel strategy, alternates, weather, and NOTAMs.
- Champion an elevated cabin experience—proactive, discreet, and guest-forward.
- Collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to anticipate needs and resolve challenges.
- Leverage EFB/PED tools for flight planning, navigation, and reporting.
- Uphold Aero’s safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.

🌟 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 4,000 hours
- PIC Time: 1,500 hours
- Jet Time: 2,000 hours
- Time in Type (GIV Series): 500 hours
- PIC in Type: 250 hours
- Type Rating: Required – Gulfstream G-IV Series (G350/G400/G450)
- Experience: At least 1 year of Part 135 and/or Part 121
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Medical: First Class
🛡️ Certifications & Clearances
- Background: Fulfillment of TSA Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
- Radio Permit: Valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Travel: Able to travel unrestricted to all locations Aero flies to
- Passport: Valid passport and documentation allowing re-entry to the United States after international flights
- Technology: Ability to learn and work with PEDs/EFBs
🧪 DOT Safety & Drug Testing
As this is a DOT safety-sensitive position as defined in 14 CFR part 120 and 49 CFR part 40, all prospective employees are subject to pre-employment testing for the following drugs and their metabolites:
- Marijuana
- Cocaine
- Amphetamines
- Opioids
- Phencyclidine (PCP)
Ongoing compliance with company policies and applicable regulations is required.
