Aero is searching for a seasoned Gulfstream G‑IV Captain to join our premium operation. You’ll set the tone for the operation—from thoughtful preflight planning and risk management to warm, attentive hospitality. We’re seeking a captain who can see around corners, communicate clearly, and collaborate seamlessly to deliver a consistently premium experience.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command on G‑IV (G350/G400/G450) missions with a safety-first mindset.
  • Plan and execute flights with precision—performance, fuel, weather, alternates, and risk assessment.
  • Lead with professionalism in all phases of flight and ground operations; model exemplary CRM.
  • Deliver an elevated guest experience with discretion, poise, and proactive service.
  • Collaborate closely with crew, dispatch, maintenance, and leadership to ensure operational excellence.
  • Maintain strict compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

🌟 What You Bring

  • Excellent communication skills with quick, accurate decision-making.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and disciplined checklist execution.
  • Flexibility to work days/nights, weekends, and holidays as operations require.
  • Comfort learning and working with PEDs and modern cockpit/ops tech.
  • Valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Ability to travel unrestricted to all locations Aero serves; valid passport and documentation to re-enter the U.S. after international flights.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not provided).

🧾 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 4,000 hours
  • PIC Time: 1,500 hours
  • Jet Time: 2,000 hours
  • Time in Type (G‑IV): 500 hours total, including 250 hours PIC in type
  • Type Rating: Gulfstream G‑IV required
  • Experience: At least 1 year Part 135 and/or Part 121
  • License: ATP (FAA)
  • Medical: First Class

🔐 Compliance & Screening

  • Background: Satisfactory TSA CHRC.
  • DOT Safety-Sensitive: This role is safety-sensitive under 14 CFR Part 120 and 49 CFR Part 40.
  • Pre-Employment Testing: Screening for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opioids, and Phencyclidine (PCP).
