Join Sirio as a Global Express Captain and set the standard for safety, precision, and impeccable service. You will lead the flight deck while delivering a concierge-level passenger experience—seamlessly switching from technical excellence to hospitality with grace and professionalism.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Command Global Express operations with an unwavering focus on safety, compliance, and on-time performance across Europe and beyond.
- Plan, brief, and execute each mission to exacting standards, optimizing performance, fuel, and routing while managing risk and change.
- Lead and mentor the crew, fostering a just culture and seamless teamwork on the flight deck and in the cabin.
- Deliver a world-class, concierge-style service—anticipating passenger needs, ensuring privacy, comfort, and a refined in-flight experience.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, ground handling, and security to guarantee readiness and reliability at every stage.
- Maintain currency and records, participating in recurrent training, checks, and safety programs (e.g., FDM/FOQA, SMS).
- Represent Sirio with professionalism and discretion in all interactions across our European network and destinations served within the Flexjet ecosystem.
🧰 What you bring
- Right to work: Hold a valid EU passport and the legal right to work in Europe and/or the UK; unrestricted ability to travel in and out of Europe and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.
- Experience: Minimum 2,500 hours total time; 500 hours PIC; 250 hours Multi-Pilot.
- Flight time notes: Includes up to 500 hours PICUS and 250 hours Multi-Pilot Instrument Time.
- Type rating: Current/valid Bombardier Global Express type rating (type-rated).
- Licensing: EASA ATPL; Class 1 Medical; ICAO ELP Level 5.
- Availability: Willing and able to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and on overnight trips.
- Base: Willing to be based in Bologna, Italy.
🌟 Preferred
- UK CAA ATPL.
- Previous experience in Commercial Air Transport and corporate/VIP operations.
- Proven record of exceptional passenger care and discretion in high-touch environments.
🎓 Training and standards
Employment is conditional upon successful completion of initial company training on the assigned fleet, including standardization and operator-specific procedures, followed by recurrent training and checks to maintain the highest operational standards.
📍 Base and lifestyle
- Primary base in Bologna (BLQ) with operations across Europe and select intercontinental routes.
- Dynamic schedule with rostered duties; adaptability to changing operational requirements is essential.
