Global 8000 Captain (Florida-Based, Full-Time)

🧭 Mission

Lead safe, prudent operations of the Global 8000 while anticipating and meeting clients’ travel needs. You’ll collaborate with a high-performing team, ensure full regulatory and company compliance, and represent Solairus Aviation’s culture every day.

🧰 Key Responsibilities

• Operate the Global 8000 safely and in strict accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Review maintenance status, verify airworthiness, and conduct thorough preflight inspections using the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternates along the planned route and at destinations to make sound go/no-go decisions.
• Protect the safety and security of passengers, aircraft, and crew throughout every phase of operation.
• Ensure complete and accurate trip paperwork and documentation in line with current procedures.
• Work collaboratively to deliver an exceptional client experience from planning through arrival.

🌟 Qualifications

• 3,000+ hours total flight time.
• 1,500+ hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
• 1,500+ hours multi-engine land, including 500+ hours PIC in multi-engine land.
• 500+ hours turbojet time.
• 250+ hours instrument time.
• Type rating on the Global 8000 or a comparable aircraft.
• Current first-class medical.
• On-call availability and flexibility; able to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence in Florida or willingness to relocate.
• Proven team player committed to excellence and a culture of safety, service, and integrity.
