✈️ Global 6500 Captain (Pilot in Command)
Executive Jet Management is seeking an accomplished Captain to lead safe, compliant, and polished operations on a Global 6500 based at KOAK. You’ll operate a well-supported Part 91 program with a dedicated maintenance technician, delivering exceptional service and safety to passengers across domestic and international missions.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as Pilot in Command with final authority for safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations.
- Confirm compliant crewing and trip assignments; lead Threats, Plans, and Considerations briefings.
- Own flight planning, aircraft performance analysis, and weight & balance.
- Adhere to company SOPs and coordinate closely with EJM personnel.
- Act as Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
- Execute preflight tasks, verify maintenance status, and document aircraft discrepancies.
- Oversee fueling, oil, oxygen, and all ground servicing activities.
- Deliver thorough passenger briefings and a refined service experience, including support for physically challenged passengers.
- Identify and implement service improvements; investigate and resolve service deviations; collaborate effectively to resolve conflicts.
- Employ CRM and TEM in normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Maintain required training, currency, and recency; participate fully in the company SMS and report safety or compliance concerns promptly.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Certificates: FAA ATP (unrestricted or restricted) and First Class Medical.
- Experience: 4–6 years; prior corporate/business aviation experience preferred.
- Type Rating: FAA type in applicable fleet required; Global 6500 type rating preferred.
- Minimum Flight Time:
- 3,500 hours total time
- 2,000 hours Pilot in Command
- 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land
- 500 hours PIC MEL
- 300 hours instrument
- 500 hours jet
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
