Solairus Aviation, a premier private aviation management company headquartered in California, is seeking a Full-Time Captain to operate a newly delivered Global 6500 based at Republic Airport (KFRG) in Farmingdale, New York. ✈️ What you’ll do
- Serve as Pilot in Command, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Global 6500 on every leg.
- Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to dispatch.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Evaluate weather, NOTAMs, route facilities, and alternates; plan accordingly for all phases of flight.
- Operate in strict adherence to Solairus policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Safeguard passengers, crew, and aircraft while delivering a polished, client-focused experience.
- Complete all trip documentation accurately and on time.
🧭 What you’ll bring
- Flight time minimums: 3,000 total; 1,500 PIC; 1,500 multi-engine; 500 MEL PIC; 500 turbojet; 250 instrument.
- Type rating: Global 6500 or comparable aircraft type rating required.
- Medical: Current FAA First-Class Medical.
- Ability to serve on an on-call basis with flexibility for international operations.
- Completion of ICAO international procedures training annually.
- Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KFRG or willingness to relocate.
