Global 6000 Captain (Pilot in Command)
Global 6000 Captain (PIC)
Step into the left seat of a Global 6000 and lead a high-caliber, three-pilot operation supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician. You’ll fly a balanced mix of Part 91 and Part 135 missions (approximately 500 hours per year) while owning final responsibility for safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operation—and delivering an exceptional experience to owners and passengers.
- Base: Broomfield, CO (KBJC)
- Operations: Part 91 and Part 135
- Account structure: 3-pilot crew with a dedicated Maintenance Technician
- Annual utilization: ~500 flight hours
- Relocation: Must reside in or relocate to the Denver area
✈️ Your mission
- Exercise final authority as PIC, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Global 6000.
- Own end-to-end flight execution: compliant crewing and trip assignments, flight planning, performance, and weight-and-balance.
- Conduct TPC briefings; follow SOPs; fulfill security coordinator responsibilities.
- Lead pre-flight tasks, discrepancy recording, ground servicing oversight, and passenger briefings.
- Champion CRM/TEM best practices and deliver an exceptional owner/passenger experience; resolve service deviations.
- Maintain proficiency and compliance through required training, recency, and SMS reporting.
🧰 What you bring
- Prior experience in Part 135 charter operations.
- FAA type rating in BD-700 Vision (strongly preferred).
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Denver area.
🧭 Minimum flight experience
- Total time: 3,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
