Global 6000 Captain — Commutable Home Base (Full-Time)

Take the helm of a Global 6000 and deliver safe, world-class private aviation experiences. This full-time, commutable captain role is ideal for a seasoned jet pilot who thrives on professionalism, precision, and customer care.

  • Base: Commutable; primary residence within a two-hour drive of a major commercial airport, or relocation accepted in lieu of commute
  • Schedule: On-call
  • Medical: First-class medical required
  • Training: Annual ICAO international procedures training

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Captain and ensure the safe, compliant operation of the Global 6000 on every flight.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and verify airworthiness prior to departure.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Plan each flight by checking weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternates along the route.
  • Operate in full compliance with Solairus policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Safeguard passengers, aircraft, and crew while delivering exceptional service.
  • Complete all trip paperwork accurately and on time.

🧰 What you bring

  • Minimum flight experience:
    • Total time: 3,000 hours
    • PIC: 1,500 hours
    • Multi-engine (MEL): 1,500 hours
    • MEL PIC: 500 hours
    • Turbojet time: 500 hours
    • Instrument: 250 hours
  • Type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft.
  • Current first-class medical.
  • Ability to work effectively on an on-call basis.
  • Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
  • Primary residence within a two-hour drive of a major commercial airport, or willingness to relocate.

  • Company-wide pay range: $50,000 to $500,000 (varies by geographic area, experience, equipment type, job duties, training, and assigned account)
