Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G800 Captain to join our team based at Hillsboro Airport (KHIO). In this role, you’ll lead safe, efficient operations while delivering exceptional service to crew and passengers on dynamic domestic and international missions.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command of the Gulfstream G800, upholding the highest standards of airmanship and safety on every flight.
  • Conduct all operations in full compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and applicable international requirements.
  • Lead thorough preflight planning, performance and weight-and-balance calculations, weather and NOTAM review, and detailed pre/post-flight inspections.
  • Exercise sound judgment in risk assessment and decision-making, prioritizing crew and passenger safety at all times.
  • Coordinate closely with fellow crew, dispatch, and maintenance to ensure reliable, client-focused operations.
  • Maintain required qualifications, currency, and documentation, including annual ICAO International Procedures training.
  • Respond to trips on an on-call basis to support evolving domestic and international flight schedules.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Flight time: 3,000 total hours; 1,500 PIC; 1,500 multi-engine land; 500 MEL PIC; 500 turbojet; 250 instrument.
  • Type rating: Type rated on the Gulfstream G800 or comparable aircraft.
  • Medical: Current First Class medical certificate.
  • Training: Ability to complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
  • Availability: Able to work on an on-call basis.
  • Location: Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHIO (Hillsboro, OR) or willingness to relocate.
