✈️ Founding Chief Pilot for Saudi AOC
Beond is recruiting a Chief Pilot to establish and lead flight-crew standards and operational oversight for its new Saudi Arabia AOC under GACA, based in Riyadh. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will shape a premium leisure airline certificate from the ground up—owning professional standards, steering line operations, mentoring crews, and interfacing with the regulator.
🧭 What you’ll lead
- Own flight-crew professional standards, SOPs, and crew standardisation across the operation.
- Oversee line operations, the check-airman programme, and flight-crew currency and competence.
- Manage crew discipline, mentoring, and continuous improvement of operating practices.
- Support the Director of Operations and deputise on operational matters as required.
- Interface with GACA on flight-crew standards, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Full-time management appointment under GACAR Part 121.45, acceptable to the GACA President based on experience, competence, and knowledge.
- Comprehensive understanding of GACAR, operations specifications, applicable airworthiness requirements, and the operations manual (GACAR 121.45(e) & (g)).
- ATP/ATPL (ICAO) with appropriate ratings for at least one aircraft type used in the operation.
- For a first-time Chief Pilot appointment: at least 3 years’ experience within the past 6 years as Pilot in Command of a Part 121 aircraft.
- Desirable: Airbus A320/A321 family experience; strong record in SOP development and crew standardisation; fluent English (Arabic an advantage).
