✈️ About the role
As Pilot in Command on the 208B Grand Caravan Amphibian, you will conduct floatplane operations throughout remote Alaskan locations, connecting communities and delivering essential services across challenging coastal and inland waterways. 🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan Amphibian as Pilot in Command across remote Alaskan routes.
- Execute water operations, including takeoffs and landings in varied conditions and confined areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, inspections, and safety checks.
- Adhere to all FAA regulations and company SOPs, ensuring the highest safety and service standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and ground/water support teams.
- Support continuous improvement and training across floatplane operations.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Experience: Minimum 1,500 hours total time and 500 hours floatplane time.
- Licensing: Valid FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with float/seaplane rating.
- Medical: Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Standards: Ability to enter into the initial agreement and meet all performance and training requirements.
- Mindset: Sound judgment, superior airmanship, and composure in remote, weather-variable environments.
