First Officer – Saab 340 | Regional Express (Australia)

✈️ Role overview

As a First Officer on the Saab 340, you’ll operate scheduled regional services, supporting safe, efficient, and passenger-centric operations under the guidance of the aircraft Captain and company SOPs.

• Aircraft: Saab 340
• Operation: Regional airline services under IFR
• Network: Multiple bases across Australia

🧭 What you’ll do

• Serve as Second-in-Command on Saab 340 operations across the regional network.
• Operate to CASA regulations, company SOPs, and IFM, maintaining exemplary airmanship and CRM.
• Support flight planning, performance calculations, briefings, and post-flight administration.
• Contribute to a strong safety culture, compliance, and on-time performance.

🧰 Minimum requirements

• CASA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
• Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) or current Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC).
• Current CASA Class 1 Medical.
• Minimum 500 hours total flying time.
• Ability to work in Australia.
• Completion of all application screening questions in full.

🌟 Preferred profile

• 850+ hours total time.
• Significant time on multi-engine or turbine aircraft 3000 kg and above.
• Experience gained on cross-country operations under instrument flight rules (IFR).
• All ATPL theory subjects completed.
