  • Location: Cairns, Australia
  • Operator: Hinterland Aviation
  • Fleet: Various multi‑engine aircraft
  • Licences: Australian CPL or ATPL; CASA Class 1 Medical; Command Multi‑Engine Instrument Rating
  • Minimum Experience: 1200 hours total; 150 hours planned IFR; 50 hours night
  • Eligibility: Australian citizen or permanent resident

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate multi‑engine aircraft under IFR and VFR in accordance with company SOPs and CASA regulations.
  • Deliver safe, on‑time and customer‑focused regional services from the Cairns base.
  • Conduct thorough flight planning, fuel and performance calculations, and weather assessments.
  • Execute checklists, briefings and threat/error management with disciplined crew resource management.
  • Support the Captain in all phases of flight and step up with initiative when delegated duties arise.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs and regulatory compliance at all times.

🧰 What you bring

  • Australian CPL or ATPL.
  • Command Multi‑Engine Instrument Rating.
  • CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum 1200 hours total time, including 150 hours planned IFR and 50 hours night.
  • Strong situational awareness, professionalism, and commitment to safety and service.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
