Join a high-performing flight department as a permanent, type-rated First Officer on the Gulfstream GIV series. This role is ideal for an FAA-licensed professional with strong international experience, a customer-first mindset, and recent currency in the GV series.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as First Officer on Gulfstream GIV-series operations for domestic and international missions, including transatlantic and transpacific routes under Part 135.
- Deliver a refined, customer-focused cabin experience with professional presentation and excellent first-impression skills.
- Maintain operational readiness through effective sleep management to ensure safety and performance on duty.
- Handle, care for, and monitor animals before, during, and after flights to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Protect sensitive information and passenger privacy with the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
- Support ground operations as needed, including moving baggage and equipment (occasionally up to 80 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Adhere to company SOPs and regulatory standards, coordinating seamlessly with the Captain and flight operations team.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total time: 2,000 hours
- Multi-engine: 500 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Experience: Prior Part 135; international operations including transatlantic and transpacific
- Type rating: Required
- Recency: Current and qualified in the GV series (G450/G550/GV) within the last 12 months
- Licenses: CPL with IR and ME (FAA)
- Medical: FAA Class 1
🌟 Additional requirements
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Valid passport and driver’s license
- Ability to pass TSA background checks and obtain a SIDA badge when applicable
- Strong customer-focused approach with professional presentation
- Physical readiness, including occasionally moving objects up to 80 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Competence and comfort working with animals (handling and care before, during, and after flights)
- Demonstrated integrity and commitment to confidentiality
📍 Location & commute
To support efficient scheduling and rapid deployment, you must reside in the Central, Midwest, or Western United States and live near an airport with daily direct service to SLC.
