First Officer – Embraer Praetor 600 / Legacy 500 (EMB-550)

✈️ About the opportunity

As First Officer, you will support safe, efficient, and customer‑focused operations on the Embraer Praetor 600/Legacy 500 platform. You’ll work closely with the Commander and wider flight operations team to deliver punctual, compliant flights while maintaining the highest standards of airmanship and discretion expected in business aviation.

🧭 Key responsibilities

• Execute all First Officer duties in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to thorough pre‑flight planning, performance calculations, fuel planning, and weather/NOTAM review.
• Support the Captain with decision‑making, threat and error management, and effective CRM.
• Conduct accurate, timely checklists and aircraft systems monitoring from takeoff to shutdown.
• Coordinate seamlessly with ground, maintenance, and dispatch to ensure on‑time, compliant operations.
• Deliver a refined passenger experience with professionalism, discretion, and proactive communication.
• Champion a just culture and continuous improvement mindset, reporting hazards and sharing best practices.

🧰 Preferred profile

• Strong jet handling skills with robust IFR proficiency and systems knowledge.
• Experience on the Embraer Praetor 600/Legacy 500 (EMB‑550) or similar midsize business jet is an advantage.
• Collaborative communicator with excellent situational awareness and CRM.
• Customer‑centric mindset, professional presentation, and the discretion required for private/charter operations.
• Flexibility to operate to dynamic schedules and occasionally at short notice.
• Current medical and recency appropriate to professional jet operations; exact license requirements will be confirmed during screening.
