✈️ About the role

As a First Officer, you will support the Captain in all phases of flight to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations in accordance with Company policies, standard operating procedures, and FARs. You’ll exercise strong crew resource management, apply disciplined checklist usage, and maintain a sharp focus on situational awareness from preflight through shutdown. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role with a strong emphasis on professionalism and ongoing development.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Execute preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance in coordination with the Captain.
  • Conduct thorough aircraft inspections and systems checks; configure and verify FMS data and navigation setup.
  • Monitor weather, NOTAMs, and operational constraints to support safe decision-making.
  • Operate the aircraft in compliance with Company SOPs and applicable FARs; uphold sterile cockpit procedures.
  • Manage normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures with precision and clear communication.
  • Coordinate with ATC, dispatch, and ground personnel to ensure on-time performance.
  • Support a positive cabin and flight deck environment; assist with irregular operations and passenger needs as appropriate.
  • Maintain currency and proficiency through training, checks, and ongoing professional development.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.

🧰 What you bring

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Meet minimum requirements for an ATP or R‑ATP certificate; ATP written preferred.
  • Meet current FAA and Company minimum age and flight time requirements.
  • Able to read, analyze, interpret, and apply technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Fluent in English; able to be clearly understood, including during shouted emergency commands.
  • Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, and/or crawl as duties require.
  • Able to sit for extended periods; move about the aircraft and perform all functions effectively in confined spaces.
  • Capable of lifting or moving items up to 75 lbs.
  • Meet FAA medical visual standards; able to hear clear verbal communications in person, on the phone, and over a headset.
  • Stamina to work long, sequential duty days with frequent changes in temperature, climate, and weather conditions.
  • Able to occupy the pilot’s seat or assigned jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modification.
  • Willing to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, nights, overnights, and weekends.
  • Willing to relocate based on Company operational needs.
