🧭 The Role: First Officer (Co‑Pilot)

The First Officer works directly with the Commander (Pilot‑in‑Command) to operate the aircraft safely and efficiently through all phases of flight. You will assist with flight preparation, execution, and post‑flight duties; ensure adherence to regulations and company procedures; and be prepared to assume command in the absence of the Commander.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Support the Commander through all phases: preflight planning, briefing, taxi, takeoff, en‑route, approach, landing, and post‑flight.
• Perform PF/PM duties, checklist discipline, callouts, and radio communications per SOPs.
• Manage navigation and aircraft systems, including flight management tasks and performance calculations.
• Continuously monitor weather, fuel, flight path, and aircraft performance; maintain high situational awareness.
• Ensure compliance with the LIAT 2020 GOM, company SOPs, and all applicable regulations.
• Assist effectively in routine and emergency situations; execute abnormal and emergency procedures as directed.
• Demonstrate professional customer care and represent LIAT (2020) with courtesy and integrity.
• Be ready to assume command if required in the absence of the Commander.
• Participate in initial and recurrent training, line checks, and safety programs, supporting a strong SMS culture.

🧰 Minimum Requirements

• Valid ICAO CPL with IR and ME.
• Current Class 1 Medical.
• ELP Level 4 or higher.
• Type rating: Not required — company training provided (NTR).
