Step into a permanent First Officer role on the Reims/Cessna F406 Caravan II, with extensive rotations across Africa. Non–type-rated pilots are welcome — training is provided.
🧭 The mission
As a First Officer on the twin‑turboprop F406 Caravan II, you will support safe, efficient operations across diverse environments throughout Africa. Working closely with the Captain and ground teams, you will uphold company SOPs, champion safety, and adapt to dynamic schedules during 6–12 week rotations.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Assist the Captain in all phases of flight: planning, preflight, departure, en route, arrival, and post‑flight.
- Complete performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel planning, and navigation in line with SOPs.
- Apply CRM, TEM, and SMS principles to maintain the highest safety standards.
- Operate effectively in remote and challenging environments; remain flexible to changing routes and schedules.
- Coordinate with ground operations and stakeholders; represent the company with professionalism at all times.
🌟 What you’ll bring
- License: CPL (ICAO)
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
- Total time: 500 hours
- PIC time: 100 hours
- Type rating: Not required — training provided (NTR friendly)
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively for 6–12 week rotations in Africa
- Work eligibility: Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
- Local candidates: Preference given
- Strong airmanship, situational awareness, and a safety‑first mindset.
