Based at Braunschweig Airport, we operate long‑range Dassault Falcon 7X/8X and the versatile Pilatus PC‑24. Enter as a First Officer employed by Volkswagen AG, take responsibility for the safe execution of flights, and help deliver an exceptional passenger experience in a demanding, highly professional environment — on the flight deck and beyond.
🧭 Your mission
As a First Officer, you will operate our business jets to the highest safety and service standards while actively contributing to flight operations outside the cockpit.
- Execute all phases of flight in accordance with company SOPs, industry best practices, and a robust safety culture.
- Deliver a refined, discreet, and customer‑centric experience for senior passengers and stakeholders.
- Support flight preparation: performance, weight and balance, weather/NOTAMs, FMS setup, and documentation.
- Practice exemplary CRM, checklist discipline, and threat/error management in a multi‑crew environment.
- Contribute beyond the cockpit: safety and compliance initiatives, SMS reporting, manuals, and process improvement.
- Represent Volkswagen AirService professionally on the ramp, with partners, and at destinations worldwide.
📋 Minimum requirements
- Licence: EASA ATPL (frozen) with IR, MCC, ME, UPRT
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
- Medical: Class 1
- Languages: German and English at C1; ICAO ELP level 4
- Eligibility: Open to holders of EASA licences
🧰 Additional requirements
- General university entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification, and completed vocational training, or a comparable qualification
- Security background check (ZÜP)
- Confident appearance, strong customer orientation and service mindset, and outstanding teamwork skills
