✈️ The Opportunity
As a First Officer, you will operate throughout the U.S., Canada, and international destinations served by Flexjet, delivering a refined, safety-first experience to our Owners. You will fly multiple aircraft types under FAR Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K (91K), and Part 91 operations.
🧭 What You'll Do
- Execute safe, efficient flight operations in accordance with FAA, ICAO, and international regulations.
- Apply expert working knowledge of FAR Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K, and Part 91.
- Deliver exceptional communication and service to Owners, fellow crew members, and operations control.
- Maintain meticulous standards in flight planning, performance, recordkeeping, and compliance.
- Collaborate within a high-performing crew environment and present a polished, professional image at all times.
- Leverage technology, including word processing, email, and web-based applications, to support operations.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 3,000 hours minimum. Quality of flight time matters—special consideration for military experience, PIC time, turbine time, and experience in our airframes.
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Type Rating: Not required—full transition training provided (NTR).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of FAR Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K, and Part 91.
- International Ops: Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
- Travel Documents: Valid passport; ability to obtain CANPASS; able to travel to/from the U.S. and all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational and advanced multi-tasking abilities; excellent interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation skills; passionate attention to detail; team-focused.
- Professionalism: Well-groomed appearance required.
- Technical: Proficiency with word processing, email, and web-based applications.
- Residency: Reside near or be willing to reside near assigned domicile; able to report within two hours regardless of weather.
🌟 Preferred Experience
- Prior Part 135/91K or corporate aircraft experience.
🧭 Domicile & Travel
- Home basing at major airports.
- Company-paid commuting to and from domicile during scheduled days.
- Domicile changes permitted with proper notice to meet Owner responsiveness.
🎓 Training & Fleet Transition
- Non–type-rated candidates welcome; type-specific training provided.
- Opportunities to expand across multiple business jet types based on operational needs.
