First Officer (Airline Pilot) – HOP!

🧭 What you’ll do

• Operate the aircraft with the Captain, sharing primary responsibility for passenger safety.
• Conduct aircraft control and navigation, manage radio communications and support operational decision-making.
• Monitor aircraft technical status and systems throughout all phases of flight.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, CRM, judgement, resilience, physical fitness and effective use of English.

🧰 What you bring

• Licences: Valid ATPL (EASA) or valid CPL/IR ME with valid ATPL theory credit from an ATO certified by an EU Member State.
• Medical: Current Class 1 medical certificate.
• Nationality: French, other EU Member State, or Swiss nationals.
• French language: For non-French nationals, FCL055 Level 6 plus current FCL055/055D Level ≥ 5.
• English: Strong proficiency; TOEIC ≥ 850 obtained within 2 years before selection.
• Training record: No failed training with HOP!, Air France or Transavia.
• MCC: Attestation of Multi-Crew Cooperation training.
• Experience: Time on CS‑25 or CS‑23 aircraft is an advantage.
• UPRT: If you do not hold an initial CS‑25 type rating, proof of EASA Advanced UPRT completed on/after 20 Dec 2019.
• Evidence: Certified copies (under your own declaration) of the last two pages of your flight logbook, plus an employer certificate validating recorded flight hours.
• Mindset: Passion for flying, enthusiasm, commitment, strong intellectual, psychological and physical abilities.

🌟 Selection process

• Psy 1 – ENAC: Psychotechnical and psychomotor tests.
• Psy 2 (where applicable): Personality inventories, group exercise and individual interview.
• Flight-simulator assessment: May be required prior to the final interview.
• HOP! selection interview: Invitation conditional on success at earlier stages.

Candidates are invited to Psy 2 only based on Psy 1 results; the HOP! interview is conditional on passing Psy 2 and, where applicable, the simulator assessment.
