🧭 The Opportunity

As a Cargojet First Officer, you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Captain to plan, operate, and manage safe, efficient cargo flights. You’ll exercise sound judgment, crisp communication, and disciplined SOP adherence—stepping into command if required—to ensure every shipment arrives as promised.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Assist the Captain with flight planning, performance, briefing, and pre-/post-flight duties.
  • Execute take-offs and landings under the Captain’s authority and in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Manage assigned flight deck tasks and any additional duties delegated by the Captain.
  • Assume command in the event of Captain incapacitation, ensuring the safety of crew, aircraft, and cargo.

🌟 What You Bring

  • Licensing: Valid ATPL (ICAO) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with IATRA or SAMRA & SARON exams passed.
  • Experience: Minimum 1,000 hours total time, including 250 hours multi‑turbine.
  • Eligibility: Canadian passport; eligible to work in Canada; able to travel without restrictions throughout the Cargojet network. Any required work permits/visas or other authorizations are the candidate’s responsibility.
  • Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
  • Language: English Language Proficiency Level 4 (ICAO) or higher.
