Kalitta Charters is hiring a seasoned Pilot-in-Command to join our Falcon 20/Learjet 35 operation in Ypsilanti, MI. ✈️ What you’ll do

Serve as Pilot-in-Command on Falcon 20 and Learjet 35 missions, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and risk assessments in alignment with FAA regulations and company SOPs.
Coordinate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and crew to deliver on-time, mission-ready operations.
Provide exceptional, service-oriented interactions with customers and stakeholders.
Assist with loading/unloading as needed and safely handle items up to 75 lbs.
Maintain required currency, records, and diligent checklist discipline throughout all phases of flight.

🧭 What you’ll bring

Education & Docs: High School Diploma/GED; valid unrestricted driver’s license; valid unrestricted U.S. passport.
Medical & Licenses: FAA First Class Medical; FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating (ATP strongly preferred); FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
Flight Experience: 2,000+ hours total time; 1,000+ multi-engine time.
Type Ratings (Preferred): PIC typed in LR-JET, LR-45 and/or DA-20.
Technical: Proficiency with MS Office, common computer software, and internet tools.
Compliance: Ability to pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Operational Availability: Full-time availability including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable, punctual, and flexible.
Professional Traits: Strong communicator and teammate; able to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, and handle fast-paced operations with a positive, service-first attitude.
Physical: Able to lift up to 75 lbs; willing to assist with cargo loading/unloading as necessary.
