  • Licence required: EASA ATPL (frozen)

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Operate the Boeing 737NG safely and efficiently under the command of the Captain across Transavia’s Europe & North Africa network.
  • Work closely with your flight deck and cabin colleagues, plus operational support teams, before and during every sector.
  • Navigate varied and challenging environments, including mountainous terrain, rapidly changing weather, short or snow-covered runways, and busy tourist gateways.
  • Deliver a great journey for passengers while upholding Transavia’s safety and service standards.

✅ What you bring

  • Valid Boeing 737NG type rating.
  • Minimum 500 current hours as First Officer on B737NG, including at least 50 hours in the last 6 months.
  • Valid EASA (frozen) ATPL.
  • Valid ME/IR (A) with PBN privileges.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical.
  • ICAO English Level 5 minimum at application; Level 6 required before start date.
  • MCC certificate.
  • Advanced UPRT certificate if licence issued after 20 December 2021.
  • Ability to swim one full pool length unaided (for wet drill participation).
  • Valid EU passport.

🌟 What’s on offer

  • Starting salary: EUR 5,712 gross/month (500–2,800 hrs B737) or EUR 6,324 gross/month (>2,800 hrs B737).
  • Flight pay: EUR 22 gross per block hour (often 100+ hrs/month).
  • Annual increase: Average EUR 300 gross/year (excluding indexation).
  • Permanent contract with taxes in NL and social security in BE.
  • Year-end payment: 8% of gross basic salary.
  • Holiday allowance and pension with 10% employer contribution.
  • Loss-of-licence cover provided.
  • Uniform, parking, and medicals fully reimbursed.
  • Rostering: Final roster published 35 days in advance.
  • Leave: 20 holiday days (Belgian accrual) + 10 public holidays (pro rata).

  • Travel perks: Staff travel (ID95) on Transavia after 3 months; after 1 year, access to a worldwide airline network at attractive rates (subject to availability).

  • COMPASS testing included; can be completed remotely.
