🧭 Your mission

As First Officer, you’ll support the Captain in delivering safe, efficient, and passenger‑focused operations on the ERJ145. You’ll execute all phases of flight to the highest standards while adapting to diverse environments across Africa.

  • Execute pre‑flight planning, performance calculations, W&B, fuel planning, and MEL compliance.
  • Operate the aircraft in accordance with SOPs, checklist discipline, and company/regulatory requirements.
  • Manage navigation, FMS programming, and systems monitoring throughout all phases of flight.
  • Uphold robust CRM and threat/error management, fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Adapt confidently to varied routes, airfields, and operating conditions across the region.
  • Contribute to punctuality, fuel efficiency, and an excellent passenger experience.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 2,000 hours
  • In type: 100 hours on ERJ145
  • Multi‑engine: 1,000 hours
  • Turbine: 1,000 hours
  • Flight time notes: Minimum 1,000 hours on Multi‑Engine Turbine
  • Type rating: Required (Embraer ERJ145)
  • License req.: CPL with IR and ME
  • Open to Lic. Holders: NCAA, SACAA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP level: 4 or higher
  • Additional requirement: Willing to travel for extensive periods (6–12 weeks) within Africa
