🧭 Position Overview

As the Captain and overall PIC, you carry full responsibility for the safe conduct of each flight, safeguarding passengers and crew, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations through every phase of operation. This role calls for decisive leadership, superior airmanship, and calm judgment in dynamic Caribbean conditions.

  • Champion safety and regulatory compliance in accordance with ECCAA requirements and company manuals.
  • Lead the flight deck with exemplary CRM, mentoring and empowering crew members.
  • Oversee flight planning, fuel policy, weight and balance, and performance calculations suitable for regional island operations and short runways.
  • Execute normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures with precision; manage operational disruptions and make timely decisions to protect safety and service.
  • Maintain clear communication with cabin crew, operations, maintenance, ATC, and passengers.
  • Contribute to the Safety Management System (SMS) through accurate reporting and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer care while connecting Caribbean communities.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Valid ICAO ATPL and Class 1 medical.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
  • Minimum total and command flight time as required by company and authority for Captain duties.
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft performance, applicable regulations, and emergency procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities with proven CRM skills.
  • Familiarity with ECCAA regulations and company operations manuals.
  • Operational composure in variable Caribbean weather, overwater segments, and regional airport environments.
  • Willingness to complete ERJ145 type training (NTR) and all company-required training and checks.
